How do I set up Christman email on my iPhone or iPad?

**NOTE** As of 2021 we support using the Microsoft Outlook app for all mobile devices. This gives a more standard look/feel across platforms, and is much easier to support. The instructions below are for the native Apple Mail app, which is NOT supported by Christman IT.

Before starting, ensure your device is connected to the internet, either via your provider's network or via Wi-Fi. 

1.On your Home screen, locate and tap the Settings icon: 

2.In Settings, in the left hand menu scroll down and tap Mail (on some devices it may be titled Passwords & Accounts, or Accounts & Passwords):    

3. Tap Add Account

4. Tap Exchange

5. Enter your E-mail address, and then tap on the Description field. If you want to change the Description to something other than Exchange, feel free to do so. Otherwise, tap Next.

6. Since your mailbox is now in Exchange Online, you will tap Sign In to sign in using Microsoft.

7.You'll see our Christman-branded Microsoft log-in page. Note the Christman branding, and that you're logging into microsoftonline.comEnter your password and tap Sign in.

8. If this is the first time you've signed into your Microsoft account, you'll be prompted to enter some additional information. This information is used to secure your account. Tap Next.

9. Choose one (or both) of the options you'd like to use to confirm your account and follow the instructions. Please note that you cannot use your Christman email address (or any Christman email address) for the Authentication Email. You must use a personal email address for that.

10. Once you've completed the authentication verification you should be taken to a final screen asking what you want to sync to your device. You can leave all options enabled and then tap Save.

11. You may be prompted accept app permissions. Tap Accept.

Your device will now start syncing up with your account.  This process will take some time particularly for people with a lot of email, contacts, calendar appointments, etc.
