My computer will not boot

It could be that your PC did not shut down properly the last time and is actually stuck shutting down.  This can happen from time-to-time, especially with laptops and shutting the lid.  

1. Try holding down the power button for 5 - 10 seconds to ensure it is totally powered off. 
2. Press the power button again to turn it back on.
3. If you get a Windows Error Recovery message asking you to boot normally or in safe mode, etc.  Select Normally. 
4. If your PC still will not boot properly then put in a Help Desk ticket.
