How to Reboot IP Phone

Many IP Phone Issues can be resolved simply by rebooting the phone from time-to-time. 

Rebooting Your Phone

For the Yealink phones;

Press and hold the [X] button until you see a prompt Dialog Box “Reboot the Phone”   press the [OK] button when prompted.

For the GrandStream phones;

  • Press the center button on the directional (arrow) pad
  • Press the right or left arrow on the navigation pad until you see the “Reboot” option then press the center key to select.
  • Press the key under Yes to reboot

If those options don't work (or you have a Cisco or other brand / type phone) you can unplug the network cable from the "internet" port on the back of the phone, then plug it right back in.  If the phone has a power cable then unplug and replug that.  

If you find you have to reboot your phone very frequently there may be a larger issue at hand and you should submit a Help Desk Ticket.
