VPN - Waking from Sleep
Once you are logged on, if your laptop goes into sleep mode you will have to unlock your computer using the typical logon screens. It is actually not necessary to use the VPN Network sign-in again (since you are technically still logged on and your drives are still mapped) but doing so is the most seamless way to ensure you are re-connected to the VPN when you unlock your computer.
When you get back to your desktop screen, if the VPN is not connected, you will have to manually reconnect it by clicking the network icon near the clock. This will look like a WiFi signal (like shown below) or a monitor with a network cable if you are docked or hard-wired. This will pull up a menu where you can click on “TCC-VPN” and then the [Connect] button.
If you are docked and/or hardwired in, the network icon looks like this instead of a WiFi signal.
