Using a Lifesize (conference room) unit with Teams

We have an add-on with our meeting links to allow "H.323 compatible" Video Conferencing Devices, such as the Lifesize units in many of our conference rooms.  External guests can also use this if they have a compatible conference room device.   The add-on is provided by BlueJeans but is simply a Gateway for Teams and has nothing to do with our other BlueJeans rooms/service.  

On a Christman LifeSize unit, look for " 11 - Microsoft Teams" in the directory and dial it. When prompted for the VTC Conference ID, use the keypad to enter in the "Video Conference ID" number provided in the meeting invitation.  For example. 

If the ID is valid, the room unit will be in the Microsoft Teams meeting. 

On a guest's system, given the example above, you would dial into  130098559@teams.bjn.vc for our gateway and then enter in the ID when prompted.  

Usage Tip

When in a call, dial *1 on Lifesize phone (using the dial pad) to toggle the three video layouts (keep dialing *1 to keep toggling):

1. Active Speaker Mode - large video of the speaker with thumbnails of recent speakers below
2. Active Speaker Mode - full screen.  Full screen of the active speaker.
3. Grid view - a grid of up to 9 active speakers on the screen at one time.
