I've received a promotion! When will my title update in my signature?
As mentioned in other email signature articles, IT does not manage names, titles, or office locations. The only changes we can make on your behalf is adding a "Book time to meet with me" link or add certifications to your signature. Other information is updated by the Human Resources department.
There are a number of things that go on behind the scenes when promotions are processed, so there will likely be a delay between when you're notified of a promotion and when HR updates the information in Workday and Vista. The same can also be said for changes to your name.
If you have questions about when your title will get updated, please contact HR.
If you see the updated information is in Workday, please put in a helpdesk ticket. Some update procedures run on a schedule and some are manual. If you see the correct information in Workday, put in a helpdesk ticket and we can manually kick things off to get things updated.
