I've received a promotion! When will my title update in my signature?
As mentioned in other email signature articles, IT does not manage names, titles, or office locations. The only changes we can make on your behalf is adding a "Book time to meet with me" link or add certifications to your signature. Other information is updated by the Human Resources department.
There are a number of things that go on behind the scenes when promotions are processed, so there will likely be a delay between when you're notified of a promotion and when HR updates the information in Vista. The same can also be said for changes to your name.
