I'm having an issue with my IP Phone
If you are having issues dialing out to a certain number, make sure you test dialing out to another number like your cell phone. Also try calling another extension to see if phone-to-phone calling works. If you can't dial out please describe in a ticket what is happening. For example: dead air; a fast busy tone; a recording; static; it just disconnects; it connects but you can't hear or they can't hear you; etc.
If you are having issues receiving calls please test inbound calling from your cell phone. Can you receive calls from another internal phone extension? If you can't receive calls please describe in a ticket what is happening. For example: The phone doesn't even ring; it rings, you answer, it disconnects; you answer but you can't hear or they can't hear you, etc.
However, before putting in a ticket you may want to reboot your phone to see if that clears up the issue.
You may also want to reboot your phone if you are suddenly experiencing a sluggish interface, keys not working, call transfer issues, or audio quality issues, etc. Sometimes the phone needs to be rebooted just like a PC does. It is okay to do this.
Many IP Phone Issues can be resolved simply by rebooting the phone from time-to-time.
