Why Can’t I Update My Email Signature?
You may have tried change your signature within Outlook. This option is locked so that we can maintain a consistent corporate brand standard.
In 2024 we deployed corporate managed email signatures. These signatures do not use the built-in signature system in Outlook but instead us an add-in by a company called Exclaimer.
These signatures allow automated updating of user information (such as name or title changes, regional office locations, etc) based on the information in Workday/Vista. Most of this information cannot be changed (either by the user or by IT) and you will need to go through HR to make changes.
